Video Content / Live Streams / Hangouts

A picture says a thousand words, but a video can be unspeakably the best emotional trick to capturing an audience. We have all taken a stab at publishing creative content on YouTube and attempted making a viral video, but the recent success of Google+ Hangouts is changing the game. For those that are not in the loop, Google owns YouTube and what makes Hangouts SO powerful is its video quality, ability to have 10 people chatting for free, and the integration of great features like debuting a YouTube video to all 10 people “hanging.” You can also integrate Google docs for a presentation and make live edits on the spot. What this does is open up a world of possibilities for connecting directly with your clients to have discussion and share ideas. Let’s say you want to do something bigger and better than 10 people in a chat room. YouTube has officially launched the live stream for businesses. Although it’s not available to all users yet, it allows you to hang with thousands for FREE. Video software like Skype has owned the 2-way video conferencing world, but ask anyone that has used Skype for video with 5/6 users and they will tell you that the quality is lost. Google uses the powerful YouTube back-end to create a great user experience. Get creative with video because the time is coming to do more!
