Smart TV Alliance Announced By End of 2012

Manufactures LG and Philips have announced a partnership to bring a cross-platform sharing solution. Unfortunately, Smart TVs have not taken off as quickly as the industry thought in light of the ability to share media and apps across multiple platforms. The new Smart TV Alliance aims to compete against Google TV which is the only cross-platform ecosystem.
