Augmented Reality is the New QR Codes


A new article from mobile marketer suggests that Augmented Reality (AR) is the new QR Codes. In the last couple of years, QR codes have become one of the largest marketing tools in the country. However, Augmented Reality has been gaining pace as one of the hottest new ways of marketing. Much more popular in Europe, the US is finally taking notice of utilizing this powerful way of marketing. AR can be used in many different ways including using QR Codes to project 3D images on your computer. Most recently, IKEA developed their 2013 Catalog in Augmented Reality to create real-life ideas for your furniture.
