Former
ex-Google executive Dave Girouard has started a new innovative company. The new
company is called Upstart, which allows young entrepreneurs to raise money
through their friends instead of getting a load from a bank. Similar to
Kickstarter, the new company will hand select good ideas, be mentored and help
have people donate money for startups. CEO Girouard says the idea comes from
young entrepreneurs inability to raise money or get a loan in a time when this
could be the best opportunity for them to start a new company.
