IBM, the
largest computer hardware company globally has taken immediate efforts to
become more social media friendly. There latest release called “Connections”
has the ability to integrate social media sites like Facebook and Twitter into
their professional services like email, CRMs and human resource applications.
IBM spoke on the subject as a huge focus for the company in coming months and
years. They believe in a product that would compete against similar services
from Microsoft and Salesforce.com.
