Very rare do
I jump into marketing efforts. Technology, Social Media and Web/Mobile Development
but sometimes I come across concepts better left shared than unsaid. I came
across the ideology that “Selling a Bible” is easier than Internet Marketing.
Obviously this caught my attention so I wanted to dive in. The individual that
said this meant that it’s easier to sell someone a Bible than sell him or her a
religion. I believe too many times we look at Internet Marketing as what
customers can we “convert.” Interesting word choice. We focus on the what and
forget the how. Just because they have signed up for your Newsletter (IE the
Bible) doesn’t mean they are buying what’s inside yet. Its easier to say yes to
the newsletter or yes to buying a Bible but it’s much harder to sell them the
contents of what’s inside.
Consider that as you are sending out your next newsletter.
