In a new article from Social Media Today, they examined why
small businesses fail at social media. I decided to add the “suck” part because
I have seen so many small to mid-size companies fail at their social media
strategy; Strategy being a keyword in the sentence. Here are a few reasons why
they continue to fail at social media. 1) They have no strategy 2) Social Media
doesn’t happen over night. Its all about building relationships 3) Its about
listening and engaging. Many small businesses think just because they have a
Facebook page that everyone is going to like it. They need to listen to their
customers and lastly 4) Social media is not about being everywhere. Be where
you are good at and can serve your audience.
