This week on the New Media Forum, a discussion came up about how to monitor Facebook success. Many consider “new likes” as the #1 way to monitor Facebook success, however with the amount of people endorsing new products and companies hitting us in every direction with Facebook advertising, there are new ways to monitor your Facebook success. This is where I introduce the Facebook Conversion Rate. The way it works is taking the Total Facebook Interactions (people talking about this) and dividing it by the total likes on your page. This percentage will determine your total conversion rate of who is actually interacting with your page. One of the great things about Facebook analytics is the Page Post analytics. This will tell you what articles and posts do the best on your page. Monitor what is working for your page like videos, certain post, news articles, and questions. This will help raise your Facebook Conversion Rate.
