What Is Responsive Design?
Some say that by 2015 over 80% of individuals visiting your site will be mobile traffic. This statistic has businesses scared for their life because it brings up a few questions. Do you have a mobile website? Is it consistent with your brand identity? Do you have to design a completely separate mobile site? All great questions and we have found responsive design to be the answer. Most WordPress and Drupal experts have been using it now for over a year. Responsive design allows your web programmers to design a site with mobile, tablet, and desktop users in mind. In most cases, the programmer designs a site with three columns. If someone visits the site from a desktop computer, then it will show all three columns. If they visit from a tablet like the iPad, then it will show two columns and if it’s a mobile phone, then one column. It helps keep your brand identity intact across the board.
