Many
businesses have been embracing Google Analytics for many years but what kind of
data are you getting out of it. New reports are surfacing regarding the
usefulness of Google Analytics if they are not set up right. Thinking of it
like “plumbing” for your website. If you are not putting in all the pipes
correctly on each page then you may spring a leak. Make sure you have your
Google Analytic code on all pages, landing pages and buttons that you want to
monitor. Make sure you are setting up Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that
match your companies performance. Lastly, make sure you are monitoring,
researching and figuring out best uses with the data you receive from Google
Analytics.
