Some would
say that Twitter and Facebook have revolutionized the way we communicate
online. I would completely agree with this however recently it looks as
Facebook and Twitter are throwing their weight around to get what they want and
not allowing others to compete. In recent weeks, Twitter has closed their API
on major social giants like Instagram and LinkedIN while Facebook buys out or
creates a product for every social site deemed “competition.” One of the
greatest functions with Twitter was their openness to allow others to develop
for it while Facebook’s Open Graph serves great opportunity for development, if
you get to big, you will be squashed.
