Adobe’s PhoneGap Launches


A couple of years ago, Adobe purchased an open-source mobile development environment called PhoneGap. Many developers wondered why and what they were going to do with it and today it was revealed. After two years of testing, Adobe has launched a new creative environment for development mobile apps using HTML5. HTML5 allows apps to be deployed on all mobile platforms including iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows and more. PhoneGap already has over 400,000 developers and 1 Million downloads and has already grown to be one of the top open-source developers tools for developing apps. You can get an unlimited version for $49/month, $10/month for an a la carte solution or a free solution with 100 assets of code.
