Healthcare Embraces Technology

There has always been this notion that medical professionals did not want to embrace the digital trends on the Internet. They feared for their jobs and money but a recent report suggest that a group of doctors and medical professionals are embracing the digital age. They are following diseases on Twitter, communicating and updating important Health information on Facebook and Twitter, emailing their patients with updates and information and finally utilizing text messaging to update their patience throughout the day. These are all things being done by a doctor they trust that knows their health situation. This is the future of someone who is caring for you actually being there for you via technology. What do you think? Do you want your doctor texting you saying lay of the chips and pick up an apple?
