New research
has surprised retail from a marketing research company called uSamp. The focus
of the study was behaviors on mobile purchasing and surprisingly, men lead the
pack on purchasing via a mobile device. The search revealed that more then 45%
of men shop via their mobile device while only 34% of females have ever shopped
from a mobile device. Adding to the research is that more then a quarter of men
shop during working hours while only 15% of woman shop during work. The
research did recognize a large percentage of both men and women that scan
barcodes to find pricing information.
