Google is
looking to cut more jobs from its subsidy Motorola Mobility. In 2010, Google
purchased Motorola to expand its patient portfolio in the mobile space but has
been fighting to make the company profitable as competitors Samsung continues
to do well. Google is looking to cut 9% out of the budget, which equates to
nearly 300 Million dollars. “Motorola has continued to refine its planned
restructuring actions and now expects to broaden those actions to include
additional geographic regions outside of the U.S.,” the company said in a
statement.
